Tesla retail store will open later this year inside the Starfield Hannam Mall as a first introduction to the Korea customer.
The space will be 64 pyang(211.6㎡) and will be located in the luxury lifestyle zone of the Mall. Other Shinsegae locations are now being considered to open in 2017 and 2018 as part of the Brand expansion in Korea.

Shinsegae will support the rapid deployment of Tesla destination charging network for customer use, with an objective to reach 25 locations by the end of the first half of 2017. Tesla destination charging locations will be installed across the Shinsegae Group retail portfolio, such as Shinsegae department stores, E-mart stores, Shinsegae Simon premium outlets, Starfield premium shopping mall, Chosun Hotel, Starbucks, etc... Destination chargers exclusively allow Tesla customers to charge their car while enjoying shopping, dining or during an overnight-stay.
